Guilt no more Dining

Fifi has sweet n sour "chicken" with an "egg roll."
Buster has barbeque "pork." Yum.
Sweetums has "turkey n gravy", while Truckster will "enjoy" Salisbury "steak."
Superguy has "Chicken Fried 'Pork' " (TM)
Messy Bessy is happy. No dishes!
Of course, it's all completely disgusting. But quick! Guilt no more! You too can be this happy.

I can tell you, those one-dish "wonders" are starting to look pretty good to the young wife who has hit the nausea+fatigue stage of being preggo... No preparation (save peeling the wrapper and microwaving) and no cleanup (save dumping in trash)! I like this idea! And I'll probably just be eating Saltines anyway...

But, amm, the kicker: the stuff is truly nasty. I promise -- the peel, heat, n' serve advantage aside, I would NEVER recommend trying these during yucko preggo tummy. Just the smell would be too much.

I heartily recommend Ramen noodles, cream of tomato soup (with or without saltines)and calling your sisters for some good old fashioned whining.

P.S. and amm, stock up on the early morning high-protein food. It really can help reduce nausea.

Yes, I am sure you are right and they are particularly vile. I hadn't actually contemplated the eating of them very much (and the thought right now does rather turn my stomach), it was the delightful ease of it all... But I found a good alternative: Mom's old 'noodles alfredo' which is delicious and so simple it is almost as good as popping the tray dinner in the microwave. There are dishes, but hey, that's what husbands are for right? ; )
